The Cabin Dairy benefits from views over the river in Burnham-on-Crouch, its location on the High Street and is also popular with motorcyclists and visitors. Mrs. Salisbury's Famous Tea Rooms located off Maldon High Street has outdoor seating alongside the artisan shops of Bright's Path. At Heybridge Basin, there is a Wilkin & Sons Tiptree Jam Tea Room called The Lock and at Hythe Quay in Maldon, Topsail Charters have the new Barge Tea Rooms aboard the barge Resourceful.

With such a long and beautiful coastline, there are many opportunities to experience stunning views while eating and drinking in the Maldon District. Wilkin & Sons has the View River Café which offers views across to Osea Island. At the Hythe Quay in Maldon, you can sit alongside Thames Sailing Barges outside the Queen's Head. Over on the Crouch Estuary at Burnham Quay, you can take advantage of the outdoor seating area at the Quayside Café to look across to Wallasea Island. Another stunning location is in Tollesbury where a Victorian Sail Loft now hosts the Loft Tea Room.
