EVENTS

The Maldon District offers a full calendar of entertainment to suit all interests and budgets year round. Often events are staged in quirky venues that are sure to make your experience unique and memorable. Watch our annual fireworks display set against the spectacular backdrop of traditional Thames Barges, or a popular drama performed in a tractor shed. Dance the night away in a WWI aerodrome hangar, listen to a world-class choir perform in an historic chapel, or camp like a castaway on beautiful Northey Island. Colourful regattas, beer festivals, country shows, the inspiring Saltmarsh75, and of course, the internationally renowned Mud Race, all have their home here!
