Promenade Park - Proposed Garden Play Area

The Vision

This project area is located to the top of Prom Park near the Museum. We would like to encourage residents and visitors to review the initial design concepts and provide us with your feedback. We are seeking your views on the design, layout and also if you have any suggested play equipment ideas that we should consider. Please do take into account the overall aim of the project, which is to make the most of the green open space, to offer accessible and inclusive active play.

This is a fully funded project from developer contributions (Section 106) and Maldon District Council, with the aim to provide better use of the space, and will offer an improvement to this play site, by updating equipment as well as clever landscaping for all to enjoy.

This will be a six week public consultation period from 14th August 2020 until 25th September 2020. Your feedback will allow us to review and revise the initial designs. The target date of the renewed play area being installed and completed is by May 2021.
