About

Asheldham & Dengie Village Hall is set in a historic World War One field hospital that was moved to the site in 1920 after the war. It has recently been extensively refurbished inside, but the village chose to retain the historic corrugated metal front as it is part of the area's heritage.

Inside, the hall has a full stage with theatre curtains, a small kitchen and two toilets, one of which is wheelchair accessible. The village hall community will shortly be adding a small additional meeting room/changing room.
