About

Orchard Meadows consists of five adjoining meadows, each surrounded by hedges. The central meadow contains the remains of an old orchard with apple, pear, plum and walnut trees. The Friends of Southminster Community Open Spaces, Essex Biodiversity Project and the Council are working to restore the orchard which has been neglected for many years. Basketball net, 5-a-side goals and children's play area.
