About
Step back in time to proper little country pub, with old bricks and beams and a real log fire. The name becomes obvious when you arrive - there are pictures of cats, statues of cats, and one or two real ones as well. The pub is set in lovely grounds by open fields and there are tables and chairs in the garden for those with dogs or muddy boots.
Snack lunches available Thursday to Saturday, and Greene King beers on tap. The Grade II Listed building has been a pub for more than 150 years, and retains its old fashioned charm - no piped music, TV or games machines allowed here, and cash only at the bar.
