About

East of England Paddlesports is a community of like-minded outdoor enthusiasts, enjoying getting out on the water around Essex and surrounding areas. The group organises trips and events, offers tuition and has a buy and sell group for equipment.

The group, founded by outdoor activity instructor Oli Jordan, now has more than 10,000 members on Facebook and was awarded the Active Essex ‘Active Club of the Year 2021’ award. It is open to those who enjoy paddle boards SUP and kayaks.

    Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome is a unique place with a unique history. It is the largest known surviving group of RFC buildings on a WWI aerodrome which was not adapted for further military use later in its history.
