Welcome to Maldon Books, an award-winning independent bookshop located in the heart of Maldon, Essex. We’re a family-run bookshop, nestled in at the top of the high street with a beautiful view of All Saint’s Church. We stock a wide range of titles for both children and adults of all ages, across a variety of genres. We also sell cards, gift wrap and jigsaws, and all sorts of suitably bookish gifts.

Maldon Books is open for browsing seven days a week, and our experienced booksellers are on hand to help you find the perfect book, whether it’s a gift for a loved one, or a treat for yourself. We also have a programme of talks and events throughout the year.
