About

Community in a Cup is a joint project between Longfield Medical Centre and Maldon United Reformed Church, offering help, information, fun and relaxing craft activities, free refreshments, a warm welcome and a listening ear.

Taking place on the last Tuesday of the month, each morning will have a slightly different theme, but welcomes anyone in the community, regardless of which GP surgery they attend, who feels in need of cheering up or a little extra support. As well as refreshments, craft and time to chat, there will be specialist help and advice available from organisations including Alzheimer’s Society, United in Kind, Ace Music Therapy, Tescos, Community Agents, Essex County Fire & Rescue, Action for Family Carers, Parkinson’s, MacMillan, U3A.
