Seasons Wood consists mainly of hawthorn & blackthorn scrub. To the northern end of the site is a small area of grassland & a balancing pond.

A large sports ground with associated sports pavilion and changing rooms. It is the home of Maldon Cricket Club, Maldon Croquet Club, Maldon Rugby Club and Maldon Tennis Club.

This small, triangular shaped site is located at the centre of the village. Swings, slide and pond. Pedestrians are advised to take care when crossing the road to this site.

One of the last areas of surviving ancient woodland in the Dengie peninsular. The dominant tree species are oak and ash. Although there is something of interest to see all year round, the best time to visit is early morning in the spring.
