The Maldon District hosts a wide choice of cafés, tea rooms, coffee houses and alfresco dining to enjoy. Offering views along our stunning coastline, or nestled in the heart of picturesque Towns and Villages, these venues give you the chance to take a break from adventuring and enjoy a spot of lunch, afternoon tea or whatever else takes your fancy!

The many cafés, tea rooms, coffee houses and alfresco dining options are also popular with motorcyclists and visitors. From high street locations set alongside the artisan shops of Maldon and Burnham-on-Crouch, to waterside tea rooms providing views across (and on) the waves!

With such a long and beautiful coastline, there are many opportunities to experience stunning views while eating and drinking in the District. Osea Island, Tollesbury, Hythe Quay and the Crouch Estuary are just some of the wonderful locations where you can enjoy a bite to eat!
