The View tea room at Osea

About

The View Cafe has spectacular views over the Blackwater Estuary and Osea Island, and is run by Wilkin & Son Tiptree Jam. It has a smaller menu than most of the Tiptree Tea Rooms, but sells hot and cold drinks, local beer, cakes, sandwiches and light lunches, as well as pre-booked afternoon tea. Inside and outside seating is available.

There is short term parking at Osea View Leisure Park dedicated for tea room customers a short walk away, or stroll around from Heybridge Basin along the sea wall (around half an hour).  Because of its sea wall position there are steps to access the tea room and toilets, so unfortunately it is not accessible for wheelchair users.
