Caroline Community Radio broadcasts across the Maldon District with a music format featuring the best music from five decades. Programmed and presented throughout the day, by radio professionals, but offering and encouraging new broadcasters the opportunity to train and gain broadcast experience during the evening.

Programmes of local news and interest are broadcast regularly with an opportunity for local residents to get involved, with the radio station staffed by volunteers.

Programmes are available on 94.7FM throughout the district, on smart speaker and through the website and various radio apps.

Caroline Community Radio is a completely independent organisation from Radio Caroline, but does benefit from the experience, expertise and help of Radio Caroline in areas such as engineering. A number of those involved with Caroline Community Radio have also been involved with Radio Caroline, and presenters from Caroline Community Radio are regularly invited to broadcast from the Ross Revenge, the Radio Caroline radio ship that is moored in the River Blackwater off Bradwell.

Radio Caroline also provides a sustaining service every weekend from 12 noon, with programmes relayed from Caroline Flashback.
