Roy Pipe founded his insurance company in Maldon in 1977, basing his business on sound advice and a very personal service. The same work ethic carries through to the present time. As one of his sons and his daughter joined the business they became a partnership and in 1988 became a Limited Company and opened a second office in Witham. The business continues to grow and has an enviable reputation for service and permanence in the insurance world.

Roy Pipe insurance supports the local community by funding the availability of the Plume School car park at weekends, allowing visitors to enjoy free parking when they visit the town - the picture shows the presentation of a cheque to Principal Carl Wakefield.

The company offers all kinds of insurance, including car and motor insurance, household insurance including cover for road and mountain bikes for cycling fans, life insurance, private medical and travel insurance and all kinds of commercial policies.
