About

In its beautiful rural setting on the edge of the Essex marshland village of Southminster, Southminster Hall is a stunning venue for your wedding, corporate event or other special occasion. The area's newest wedding ceremony and reception venue, with its mature and traditional grounds, gardens and meadow marquee area, will add the ‘wow’ factor to your wedding day.

Southminster Hall holds a special place in our hearts and has been at the centre of our family for over 60 years. It is a family run business that has evolved with time and we are excited about the new direction that its heading. We would like to welcome you for your special day.

Our grounds are extensive and there is ample opportunity to bring your own individual ideas to them, whether it be the traditional marquee in the meadow or somewhere else like the walled garden. Remember, your special day is about you and your particular choice of style. Hayley, Robert, Maureen, Gavin and the whole family are here to welcome you and help you to make your wishes and dreams come true
