About
The medieval Grade II* Listed church features a Nave and Chancel from the 12th century and is situated within the 2,000-acre Braxted Park estate. It has an active congregation and is a popular choice for weddings.
The churchyard is home to the Commonwealth War Grave of Brigadier General Hubert John Du Cane, General Staff, who died in 1916 aged 56. He was a Companion of the Bath and Member of the Royal Victorian Order, son of Major Gen Sir Edmund F. Du Cane, KCB.
