About

This 12th century Grade II* Listed church was made redundant as an Anglican church in the 1950s and is now owned by the nearby Orthodox Monastery of St John the Baptist. The church is only open by appointment, but there is access to the churchyard where there are two Commonwealth War Graves from the First World War - Private John Steward and Private Amos Polley, both of the Essex Regiment.
