About

Kazen Kai Karate at The Martial Arts Centre in Maldon offers a wide range of classes for adults and children, focusing on traditional Karate along with kick-boxing, Taekwondo and self-defence.

The Kazen Kai Martial Arts Association was formed in 2001, when Sensei Kidd and his other instructors felt that the time had come for them to leave the Ishinryu Karate Association and to further develop their own style of teaching. Kazen Kai is one of the founder members of the English United Karate Federation (EUKF) which is the National Governing Body for Karate in England.

With Kazen Kai Karate you will learn the traditional Kata, strikes, blocks, kicks and sweeps and how to combine these fluently to become an effective Karate-Ka. The organisation holds regular gradings and courses to give you the opportunity to take your karate skills to a higher level.

As well as the Maldon centre, classes are also held at Burnham-on-Crouch, Goldhanger and Tollesbury.

For all new students, there's a three week trial period during which you can pay by the session at a reduced rate of £5 for under 16 years
£6 for over 16 years
