About

The Plume Academy Artificial Grass Pitch (AGP) is a 3g synthetic pitch which is capable of hosting a variety of activities including football, rugby and athletics. The AGP is a partnership project between the Plume Academy and Maldon District Council and sees the pitch operated under dual use.

The Plume Academy have use of the pitch between the hours of 8am - 5pm weekdays during school term time. The AGP is available between the hours of 5pm - 10pm weekdays and 9am - 5pm weekends for community bookings. Booking applications can be made via this form.

The AGP is also available for community bookings during school holidays. All community bookings are facilitated and managed by Maldon Districts Council's Leisure Team and include club usage, casual bookings, commercial bookings, leagues and matches.

The AGP is bookable as the whole pitch or by thirds to suit the activity need.

The Plume Academy Artificial Grass Pitch (AGP) has adjoining provision of onsite toilets, changing rooms and shower facilities. The AGP also benefits from having floodlights that are available for after dark pitch usage.

Guide Prices

Prices and packages for the hire of the Plume Academy AGP are available via Maldon District Council's Leisure Team.

Prices vary and take into account peak and off peak times along with concessionary rates for affiliated clubs.

The AGP also caters for matches by offering a set fee for teams wishing to play league matches on the pitch.

Opening Times

* The Plume Artificial Grass Pitch (AGP) is bookable for community use on weekday evenings 5pm - 10pm and at weekends 9am - 5pm.

The AGP can be booked for activity during school holidays between the weekday hours of 9am - 10pm.

All booking enquiries will be facilitated and managed by Maldon District Council. Any applications submitted within 10 days of your booking date cannot be guaranteed until you have received confirmation from a member of the Maldon District Council Leisure Team.
